About us

A small but mighty indie studio.

We’re a pixel art shop making cozy games with a twist that anyone can enjoy: old school looks, new narrative, and new ideas.

Who we are

Founded in 2024 by Lauren and David (veterans of Blizzard, WB Games, Turbine, and other industry leaders), our small team brings decades of experience in AAA, online, and mobile games, with a focus on epic storytelling. We’ve helped build worlds that reached millions, and now we’re creating indie games we believe in.

We specialize in game development, narrative content design, UX design, pixel art, tech art, and more.

How we make our games

We make all of our own art, music, and story. We’re die-hard pixel art enthusiasts: we live in Aseprite for pixels and UltraBox for music, and we’re all-in with our clunky retro game vibe.

We blend old school vibes with unique narrative, new ideas, and cozy games with a twist that anyone can enjoy.

We use AI to code faster; every piece of art, audio, and story in our games is made by our team.

Our values

We’re committed to a positive, inclusive space for both our players and our team. That means working with intention, kindness, and transparency, and choosing platforms whose values align with ours.

Mentoring and consulting

We love connecting with other studios and devs, and we’re happy to mentor and consult for folks interested in indie dev.

Publishing partnerships

We’re also open to publishing partnerships to help us market our games.
